Design and operation:

Geekvape have primarily made Lucid out of hard plastic, only the top of the Mod, battery lid and the 510 connector is made of Stainless Steel, and therefore Lucid is really lightweight.
Lucid have a really fantastic ergonomics, with rounded edges.

At the front of the mod you find a well-placed fire button, a 0.69" OLED screen that shows you different things about your vape, and at the bottom the adjustment buttons are located.

The size and the battery "top" allows you to use tanks up to 24mm in diameter.
You turn Lucid on and off by pressing Fire 5 times. To change modes, you press fire 3 times. Lucid also have a settings menu, you need to go past the different modes to enter the settings menu.

Different Vape-Modes:

The Lucid offers three ways to vape: In normal VW Mode, Temperature Control (TC) Mode and Bypass Mode where it functions like a Mech Mod, where you get the voltage on the battery direct to the coil, and the power will be reduced as the battery drains.
In VW and Bypass mode you can use resistances between 0.05 - 3.0Ohm.

TC with many options:

Lucid has different TC Modes that allows you to use different wires for your coils. Basically you can choose between:
Ni (Nickel), Ti (Titanium), SS (Stainless Steel) and TCR. TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) allows you to adjust the coefficient of your wire with absolute precision. So if you feel that the fixed Modes doesn't quite hit the spot, this will allow you to get exactly the settings that are right for your set-up.

You can vape between 100 - 315°C / 200 - 600°F and from 0.05 - 3.0 Ohm, so you have every chance to find the perfect vape for you.
In TC mode you can set your Wattage from the settings menu, the to find the settings menu you need to go through all modes.

Battery and Firmware:

Lucid uses a single 18650 battery that will let you vape from 1 - 80W. You should use a battery with at least 25Amp.
You change the battery by unscrewing the "top" next to the 510 connection. Remember that the battery goes in plus first.

You can charge the batteries inside the Lucid by using the Micro-USB port. But it is always recommended that you charge exchangeable batteries in an external charger. However, even more important you can update the Firmware of the chip through this port as well. That way you'll always have access to the latest features and fixes.
